Stand with Jeremy Hardy: A Hero’s Battle Against Cancer

Jeremy Scot Hardy, an Air Force retired Chief Master Sergeant and decorated pararescueman, has dedicated his life to saving others, often under the most perilous conditions. Jeremy’s military career is nothing short of extraordinary. 

As a pararescueman, he was at the forefront of some of the most daring rescue missions, including the famous 1999 operation to save Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David Goldfein when his F-16 was shot down over Serbia. Leading a team of elite airmen, Jeremy braved heavy enemy fire, navigating through surface-to-air missiles and anti-aircraft rounds to bring Gen. Goldfein to safety. This operation, among many others, cemented Jeremy’s legacy as a hero who would risk everything for his comrades (Air Force Times).

After retiring from the Air Force, Jeremy continued to serve his community, becoming a pivotal member of the Agape Heroes Foundation. His dedication to helping veterans and first responders heal from the invisible wounds of war has touched countless lives. However, Jeremy now faces his toughest challenge yet—a diagnosis of stage 3 cancer.

Why Jeremy Needs Our Support Now More Than Ever

Jeremy has recently received a heartbreaking prognosis that limits his time with us. However, through the professional network of our partners at 369 Global Wellness Center, Jeremy has the opportunity to undergo an advanced stem cell treatment next month—a treatment that could extend his life and provide much-needed relief. This treatment represents a beacon of hope, but it comes with significant costs that he should not shoulder alone. The difficulties of his current health conditions have proven difficult for even a national hero like him to face alone, and he needs us to band together to help carry the load.

  • The goal is to raise $150,000 for Jeremy, of which a majority will ensure Jeremy's living expenses are covered as he undergoes his treatments and therapies.

    Medical Treatments

    • Stem Cell Treatment in Mexico City: A significant portion of the funds will go towards covering the cost of Jeremy’s upcoming stem cell treatments, which could extend his life and provide critical relief from cancer.

    • Ongoing expenses related to therapy sessions, necessary medications, and other treatments not fully covered by insurance.

    Travel and Accommodation

    • Travel Expenses: Donations will cover the cost of travel to and from medical facilities, including the trip to Mexico City for the stem cell treatment.

    • Lodging: Providing comfortable accommodations for Jeremy during out-of-town treatments.

    Everyday Living Expenses

    • Groceries and Meals: Ensuring that Jeremy and his family have access to nutritious food without the financial strain during his treatment.

    • Utility Bills and Rent/Mortgage: Helping to keep up with everyday living expenses so Jeremy can focus on his care rather than financial stress.

    Home Care and Support Services

    • Home Care Services: Funding for any necessary in-home care that Jeremy might require as his health fluctuates during treatment.

    Miscellaneous Medical Needs

    • Medical Equipment: Purchase or rental of any necessary medical equipment, such as mobility aids or special devices to assist with daily living.

    • Therapy and Counseling: Covering costs for psychological support services, including therapy for PTSD, which is critical to Jeremy’s overall well-being.

    We are committed to ensuring that Jeremy receives 100% of all donations, alleviating the financial stress associated with this challenging time so he can focus entirely on his recovery.  ALL FUNDS RECEIVED will be used to cover medical, travel and living expenses, as well as after care and improving his current quality of life.
